Xing Tian Gong Tour

Today is the 15th of November in the Chinese Lunar year. During the 1st and 15th of each month, a lot of people will go to temples to pray. I happened to be around the area of Xing Tian Gong today and decided to go in and take a quick tour and a few pictures since I have never been there before. Xing Tian Gong is one of the famous temples in the North part of Taiwan and has a very long history. Unfortunately, it was raining and there were a lot more people than I expected... so I could only get pictures of the temple's exterior. I hope I can find time to go back there again and actually go inside the temple... ><'

Merry Christmas!!!

Tonight is X'mas eve! I wonder how everyone is celebrating? Well, I think I know how Alex and Thanut is spending their's! I am not so sure about Shriram though... Haha.. so sad...

I always thought that important people or heros will be remembered forever... I guess not... Starting Dec 24, 2007 the military will no longer be in charge of guarding the former president Jiang Jing Guo's resting place... sigh... I really hate the current government.. just because history is not how you like it doesnt give you the right to change it. My family went and visited the place just to show our respect for a truely great leader that got Taiwan to where it "was" before the retarded new government took over... also, this would probably be the last time I get to see the guard changing ceremony at this place which has always been something special that tourists come to see. I hope Taiwan can get out of this soon and be back to the way it used to be a few years ago.....

Finally Some Good Food...!

Today I finally got to eat some good food after another semester of living off can food and food I cooked my self... hahaha... This is why I love to come back to Taiwan! There are a lot of good food and they are not very expensive. This is probably why everytime I come back to Taiwan I always gain weight... hahaha... oh well.. ok, this time, my sister, parents and I went to a Japanese buffet in Ban Ciao. It was in the highest floor of this department store so the view was great! Most importantly so was the food! hahaha....

Found this hat on the way to the resturant... hmm... Maybe I should have been a pirate? hahaha... jk jk

Fun In the Snow

Although all the snow makes driving very difficult, it didnt stop us from having some fun in it! During the snow storm, Shriram, Alex and I decided to try walking just to experience how it feels like. Aside from it being awfully cold, we had a lot of fun trying to figure out where we are going and also found the time to have a brief snow fight. It was actually my first time having a snow fight and it was great~!

Snow Storm...

Another snow storm has hit West Lafayette again... reminds me of what happened last year but this year I am at least ready for it. Nothing was open for some reason so Shriram, Alex and I decided to go to Starbucks to get some coffee and just relax after a tough week with exams. At Starbucks we accidentally came across a DVD with Shriram's childhood picture on it! hahaha.. not really but it was a picture of a small polar bear and it looked just like Shriram. After part asking and part forcing Shriram we were able to get a picture! hahaha.. Enjoy it!

Its finally over!!!

Sorry for not posting on here for "awhile"... haha... Finally the exam week is over!! Yay!!
Overall, I think I did just about how I expected I would do and now I just have to wait for the course grades to be published... This semester has been really tough.. but some how I managed to get through it even though I had to spend almost all my time on campus during dead week just to finish my labs... :P Now that this semester is over it is time to relax and get ready for the next one! sigh... it seems like the cycle will never end.... haha...

motherfu...

maaan- I have an exam tonight- and I decided to make a post here. Does that make sense? I didn't think so either. Hmm, and in the horizon is the goliathan undertaking of cleaning my apartment. Oh well.

ps- Why am I the only one posting here, when it was Eric's idea to begin with? hmm

dead week

I think dead week is a contest in engineering- it's called dead week, because we're supposed to be dead before finals. Do you think there's a prize for the professor who pushes the most students to suicide? hmm..
Eric has so totally forgotten about this blog...
